Dordogne self catering home
This page gives you a description of our Dordogne rental home in Tremolat with four bedrooms and the facilities it provides to make your holiday as pleasant as possible near the Dordogne river with its canoeing,fishing and watersports.
The Perigordian style four bedroom self catering house in Tremolat, built in 2007,with gas central heating, has all the facilities of a modern-day property with fully tiled downstairs floors and laminate wood flooring upstairs.It comprises/lounge/dining room, fully fitted kitchen, utility room, four bedrooms (two double,two twin),down stairs bathroom and upstairs shower room.
To the side and rear is a large patio area with patio furniture, overlooking the private pool (10M x 6M) and an expanse of grass, further on, for other activities.
There is ample parking for several cars in front of the garage which houses table tennis and pool tables, floats for the pool and bicycles for all ages.
We have two extra cots that can be assembled, if required, push chair and a baby bath and high chair for your convenience.
Lounge/Dining room
The lounge area has two settees and a chair in front of the wood burning stove as well as television, stereo and DVD and video player. To the rear is the dining table with room for up to twelve chairs, should you need them.
Kitchen
The fully fitted well equipped kitchen, overlooking the rear patio and private pool, has a seven burner gas hob, four electric ovens,fridge-freezer,dishwasher and double sink with mixer tap: all the equipment you need while on holiday. There is also a barbecue and, if needed, another larder fridge and freezer in the garage.
Downstairs bedrooms & bathroom
There are two downstairs bedrooms, one double to the front and one twin bedded to the side of the house, adjacent to the tiled bathroom with over-bath shower, wash basin and W.C.
Upstairs bedrooms & shower-room
There are two upstairs bedrooms, one twin to the front and a large double to the rear and side of the house, adjoining the tiled, double shower-room with wash basin and W.C.
Shaded patio & private pool
To the rear of the house there is a patio area, 12m. x 3m., with patio furniture. 15 metres further from the house is the private pool, 10m. x 6m., with a deep end of 2.2m. and a safe ledge all round at 1.2m. depth.The pool area has an 80sq.m. patio area for sunbeds and reclining chairs. It has sun from ten in the morning untill the evening.
Area around the house
To the front and side of the house are grassed areas and beyond the pool a larger grassed area which can be used for ball games. Paved path ways are 1m. wide with shallow steps or slopes.
Garage
The garage houses the table tennis and pool tables, bicycles, pool-floats and has a large parking area in front for several cars.
In house entertainment
Besides the television, DVD/cassette players there are also books and games for all ages to occupy you and your children in the quieter periods of your stay.
