MAISON d'AVAL - CINGLE DE TREMOLAT DORDOGNE
Testimonials from happy customers ...
We had a lovely time at Maison d'Aval and certainly wanted to stay longer when the week was up! The house was excellent and exceptionally well equipped with a lot of thought put into making us feel welcome. The pool was superb and in constant use.
Thank you very much for letting us rent your house and we would certainly make a return visit with freinds as soon as we can.

"Best house we have stayed in !!"
"The description of the house was very accurate, the photographs were very good and showed the house exactly as it was. The house was in a tranquil position but was not isolated as it was less than five minutes walk from the pretty village.
The house was very clean and well equipped, with everything we needed. The bathrooms were modern and bright the bedrooms ideal for adults and children.
The pool was excellent, we used it every day. It was very clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. The outside furniture was also very good.
The owners provided good customer service and were easy to contact by e-mail or telephone.
We would recommend this property to friends and relatives as it is the best house we have stayed in in France.
The village has a pleasant bar and restaurant. There were watersports nearby and lots of places to visit within easy driving distance "Best house we have stayed in !!"
We look forward to visiting the house again.

TREMOLAT TRIBUTE
"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in Tremolat, it was exactly as described and more. The house is modern yet has a French charm with the large dining and lounge area with a wood burning stove, but not needed in July. The kitchen was a joy to use with the large range cooker and an endless supply of kitchen equipment and plenty of crockery and glasses. The bedrooms were light and airy and the property was spotlessly clean on arrival.
The outside was great and the pool area superb. It was comforting to note that a local contact was there if we had any problems and he even called to make sure all was OK, which it was. The house is in a good location for exploring the beautiful villages of the Dordogne. Tremolat has 3 restaurants with range of prices to cover any pocket. The nearest town for shopping, Le Buge, has a wonderful market and all the shops you need. In the area there are many traditional restaurants where you can spend hours over lunch, we would recommend Restaurant De L'Abbaye at Cadouin a must for Sunday lunch but you must book. It is also a historic village with its Abbey.
Tremolat is also less than an hour from Sarlat well worth a visit and Les Eyzies for history. Also the Lascaux Caves at Montignac are within easy reach. For a day trip, St Emilion and the vineyards are worth the drive. All in all it's very central for the Dordogne. We found it great after a day's travels to return to this beautiful home and take a cool dip in the large pool. We have no hesitation in recommending this property to our friends and colleagues. We will return again and hopefully more than once."Mr. Mrs. Burton, Wigan Lancashire UK 2010
It really was our best ever summer holiday
"This was our first ever family holiday in France and we spent many hours researching the Internet to find our perfect house. We wanted a private pool; a good quality and clean house; a proper Dordogne village within walking distance so that we could enjoy days without driving, but located so that there was plenty to do on the days we felt like going further afield. We achieved all of this at Maison d'Aval, and very much hope to return soon.
The house was welcoming, spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was all we could hope for, and of course the weather was nigh-on perfect (thank goodness for the awning and parasols to protect my Celtic complexion while my wife soaked up the rays).
Well worth the thousand mile drive, a memorable first trip which we hope won't be our last. Even our notoriously fussy children loved it.
You are most fortunate to have such a lovely home in Tremolat, and for that fortnight it felt like home to us."
