TRAVELING TO TREMOLAT
Tremolat is easily accessed by car or aeroplane. Bergerac airport is to the west(30 min.), Limoges to the north (2 hours) and Brive to the east (2 hours)
The property is located just outside Tremolat village, 30km from Bergerac along the Dordogne River. (Consult the Michelin map. (No 329 Local) if traveling by car.) Suggested possible routes from the Channel ports:-
1. CALAIS, LA HAVRE: direction ROUEN, EVREUX, CHARTRES, ORLEANS, VIERZON. CHATEAUROUX, LIMOGES to PERIGUEUX (D21)...
2. CAEN: direction ALENCON, LE MANS, TOURS, POITIERS to ANGOULEME...
3. ST. MALO: direction RENNES, NANTES, NIORT, ST. ANDRE de CUBZAC (before BORDEAUX), and LIBOURNE…
Then follow directions from below from Bordeaux Airport.
On entering ANGOULEME take the D939 to PERIGUEUX . At PERIGUEUX take the N89, direction BRIVE. After approximately 10km, just after passing the rail yard on your left,and immediately after the level crossing, bear right, direction LE BUGUE, on the D710.([bold]1)[/bold] On entering Le Bugue, pass La Poste on your left and at the next junction, with the Sapeurs-Pompiers on your right, follow the D703, direction St ALVERE and BERGERAC. After approximately 1.5km., turn sharp left on the D31 direction LIMEUIL. At LIMEUIL, continue on the D31, direction TREMOLAT, Follow this road for 7km. into Tremolat, passing Garage Darnige on your right. At the crossroads, go straight on to the next T-junction and turn right. The house stands approximately 200m.,on the left after the orchard.
If arriving by air at Bordeaux-Merignac Airport, exit the airport, taking the MERIGNAC exit at the roundabout. After a short while, take the slip road down to the auto route, N89, marked LIBOURNE. Follow signs for LIBOURNE and BERGERAC, crossing the Pont d’Aquitaine, until you reach the exit for the D670 which, will take you to Bergerac.
REMEMBER: DO NOT FOLLOW ANY SIGNS MARKED SIMPLY "BERGERAC" (BE CAREFUL NOT TO GO ON THE NEW PEAGE TO PERIGUEUX! DO NOT GO OFF AT LIBOURNE CENTRE)
The D670 will become the D936 and you will pass through ST. EMILION, CASTILLON and ST-FOY-LA GRANDE, you will reach a roundabout by L’Eclerc in Bergerac. Take the first exit to BERGERAC, and then follow signs for SARLAT. After crossing the River Dordogne, turn right, following signs to LALINDE.(2) After passing through Lalinde, re-cross the river, direction LE BUISSON. On reaching the Hydro Electric Station, take the left turning by the Moulin Neuf Restaurant, marked TREMOLAT. After about 5km. you will re-cross the Dordogne, coming to a T-junction. Turn (left towards Tremolat and follow the directions above.

ARRIVING AT LIMOGES AIRPORT
Exit the airport, taking the D200 and then the D2000 Rocade Nord-Ouest, reaching the N21 to Perigueux.At L'Eclerc take the N221 for Brive. After the level crossing, take the D710 for Le BUGUE. Then as above (1).
ARRIVING AT BERGERAC AIRPORT
Exit the airport and,at the main road (N21) turn right towards BERGERAC. At the first roundabout, take the first exit, and follow this road until you pass over the Dordogne. At the next roundabout, again take the first exit towards LALINDE (D660). Then as above (2).
